The aim is to encourage the visitors/users to participate in the Gallantry Portal towards enrichment of the page of Awardees by contributing the authentic information available with them and to create Gallantrypedia of the awardees. The content may be posted in form of image, video, stories, memorials, stamps, etc, under the following categories: -

No comments will be posted in this section. Comments, if any, may be posted in “Tribute” module.
A user friendly search option will be available for the users to search for the Awardees by using keywords of information like battle operation, year of award, award, name of awardee, etc.
After selecting a particular awardee, user will get an option in form of a textbox with provision to upload content about the awardee.
A Self-explanatory brief write up about the Content has to be posted by the user along with the Content/ Contribution..
While posting, the users shall have to select the category of information, he/she wants to contribute and then proceed.
Before posting their contribution, the users shall have to agree in providing an undertaking regarding originality of the content and source of information/ audio/ video content, if borrowed, has to be mentioned at the end of the content..
After posting the information, the page will display “thanks for your contribution and we are working on it”.

Every piece of information contributed by user will undergo moderation. On the basis of approval of moderation Committee, the contribution of the user will be uploaded on the crowdsourcing page. This information will also be reflected automatically on the Awardees page of particular awardee.

Proper attribution will be given to the users for content posted by them while hosting the same on the gallantry awards portal
